Maria joins the Pew Scholars Program in the Biomedical Sciences

Maria is one of 22 recipients of the 2025 Pew Scholars in the Biomedical Sciences award. This award will fund our lab for the next four years to investigate the genetic and health impacts of the Transatlantic Slace Trade to Latin America.
