PhD student Jaime receives dissertation fellowship!

PhD student Jaime Zolik was awarded a 2026 Dr. Josie R. Johnson Dissertation Fellowship from the UMN Urban Research and Outreach Engagement Center. This fellowship will fund Jaime for the next year as she expands on her engaged genetic research with Afro Peruvian communities. She will also have the opportunity to train in participatory research methods. Congratulations Jaime!
